This last couple of months we have been spoiled with visitors, vacation time, easy rotations for Scotty, and most importantly time to adjust to becoming a family of six.
To start out we had many outings while family was in town and here are some of the favorites. We took the kids to Young's Dairy, it happened to fall on the day that they had a a fair in town so it was PACKED!! We enjoyed the day with food, ice cream, animals, train rides, tractor's and trucks to play on, and lots of adults to pay attention to all of these cute kiddos.
Here is Gpa with the boys in one of the military vehicles they had on display.
Lilly loved the train ride last year they weren't quite big enough to ride alone so this year was very exciting!!
Of course you can't go and not get food and ice cream! I think Lilly ate some of every persons ice cream at the table. She LOVES ice cream!!! We were all waiting on her , she finished off every ones left overs.
Barrick LOVED the kid area, with slides, the bounce house and cars!
Our next adventure was a Dragons game. The kids loved the atmosphere and the music! The best part for the boys was the bounce castle but Lilly HATED it!!! She made her way up to the top of the slide and was too scared to come down. They wouldn't let Scotty or I go get her (crazy teenager) so Barrick went up and had to drag her down. She was screaming and shrieking like I have never heard before!!
The kids on Lilly's dreaded slide!
Lilly on the other hand LOVED the music she danced the night away! She had everyone around us laughing and dancing along with her.
Liam's favorite was by far the food! You cant go to a baseball game and not enjoy on some of the "baseball food"
Barrick was the lucky one who got a ball!! A man at the game saw us with all our kids and came and gave them a ball so they could remember their first baseball game.
Evidence of Liams love for the food! Cotton candy covered this child, and the window next to him! Yes they have not had food in our car since:)
Then the wonderful even that brought all of our family out. Briony's blessing day! We were so lucky to have such great support from both of our families.
Of course my mom made her blessing dress and we LOVED it!!
Yes the picture at top of our blog was the best picture we could get, but this is a little more our family!
Briony with Gma Stewart.
Briony with Gma and Gpa Nelson and Uncle Alex and Aunt Jamie. Jamie and Alex are having their first baby boy in October and we can't wait for Briony to have another little cousin for her to be best buddies with.
Trent, Valene, and Marie! Man where would be without them!! We are just sad they are moving!!
Loves from Barrick for his baby sissy. This little girl of ours is so loved!!
We also had a couple of outings to Carriage Hill. Picnics and walking around the grounds was so fun!
The boys loved chasing the ducks.
We also went another day and Gpa taught all of the kids his fishing skills!
We had many adventures to the park. It has become a fun family activity where we get a pizza and spend the night playing at the park.
Gma pushing the twins on the swings!
We have also LOVED adding this sweet little piece of heaven to our crazy little bunch. She has been such a joy and has brought so much more love into our home!
You would think with the ages of the other three that they would struggle with another little person to occupy our attention but that is the furthest thing from what has happened. They adore her!! If she is getting a diaper change at least two of them are holding her hand> If she even makes a peep one of them is singing to her, bouncing, swinging, holding, reading a story giving her a binki or blanket to her. She really never cries! Come to think of it the only time she cries is between 8-10 pm when the other three rascals are in bed!!
Barrick stretching with Briony.
The day of her 2 week appt and the second smiling picture i captured. She should be happy she is a well fed child she was up almost a lb. from her birth weight at 2 weeks.
Her first real bath!
Just a cute picture that I love! It is crazy she has already changed so much from when I took this!
We also went to meet Scotty at work and enjoyed some play time on the playground at the Children's Hospital.
The family minus Briony who was enjoying some lovin from her Gpa.
The group cheering on Barrick!
The worst picture ever but one of the only action shots we got:) We had such an amazing time with our family and feel so blessed that we always have so much love and support from them!
