Three months +1.

Yes these two cute little things turned 3 months yesterday!! I know time flies by! I have had many people tell me that with a second, and in our case third child they seem to get older so much faster and I couldn't agree more. There is nothing better then seeing them learn more things everyday, but like I told Scotty today, "They are babies now, not infants." We are so blessed to have them in our lives, we love you little ones.

Here they are this morning when I got them out of bed.

Liam

1-He is a perfect angel from 7 am to 4 pm. But once those early evening hours hit he is fussy.
2-He hates tummy time!! I think it has a lot to do with the fact that his head is so heavy, it is pretty funny to watch him.
3-Barrick is so much harder on Liam I think it is because he is a boy. There isn't a day that goes by without Barrick trying to play catch with Liam or trying to wrestle with him.
4-He tends to be more of a mommy's boy. He always has smiles and coos for me.

Here is our handsome little man. I couldn't limit it down to just one picture. FYI our camera broke down right after I was done taking Lilly's, so Liam's were taken with my phone.

Lilly

1- She is such a social little thing she always wants to be with people. She is a little harder during the day because it just takes her a little more effort to wind down for their naps, but at night she is so great!! So it is nice they are harder at different times of the day.
2-Lilly on the other hand loves tummy time!! She actually prefers it sometimes. She is also very strong I don't think it will be long before she is rolling over.
3- Barrick is actually very gentle with Lilly it is very sweet.
4-Lilly on the other hand is a total daddy's girl. Scotty can get a smile anytime of the day out of her and when she gets worked up he can calm her down much faster then I can. She just lights up when he walks in the room it is very sweet.
Lilly's two pictures.

These two little babies are absolutely amazing!! I can honestly tell you it was much harder for me to be pregnant with them then to have them here with us. We have worked hard to get them on a good schedule and they are like clock work. Eat, play and nap. They both go down for naps really well and they are now sleeping pretty good at night. We feed them once around 4 to eat and that is it. Lilly is the one who wakes up but she is still not quite up to a weight range where she can sleep through the night. They are so precious and add so much joy to our family. We love you two!!

Blessing and Family FUN!!

This weekend was a special one for our little family. Our two little ones had their baby blessings given by Scotty and they were very sweet. We were lucky enough to have so many family members come out and support us, we had family come in from Texas, Iowa, Utah, Virginia, and Ohio. Despite canceled flights, missed flights, delayed flights, stolen purses, and lots of rain they all made it!! (Just to warn you there are a lot of pictures!!) Here is Liam. The babies were both so good all day long!!
Here is little Lilly, she was full of smiles this day.
Here is Liam with Uncle Austin. Don't they look so cute!
Here is a full picture of her dress.

Barrick our crazy little man. He kept everyone entertained all weekend.

The kids with Gma and Gpa Stewart. One with Gma and Gpa Nelson. Barrick was a little hard to get pictures of, he was just too excited to have so many people around to play with him.
The Stewart/Neel side of the family. Scottys parents, Sister Shauni, Uncle Trent and family, and Uncle Stuart and family. Here is my family, Mom and Dad, my brothers Austin and Alex and Alex's girlfriend Jamie.

Of course the three kiddos. The babies in their matching outfits which my mom made. I know she is amazing right??

One more picture of each of them on their special day.
Don't they look so cute!!
I just loved this one of Barrick!

For the most part everyone came just for the weekend, but we were able to have Scott Sr. and Shauni for an extra couple of days so we went into DC to see some of the sights.

Here we are at the Natural History Museum. This is by far Barricks favorite.
Jefferson Memorial.
Just a cute one of the kids.Taking a break and having a treat.
After a fun filled day we went home and still got smiles out of these two.
Aunt Shauni with the two babies.

Thank you so much to everyone who came out. I know for many of you it was a huge sacrifice for you and your families to come out, and we are so grateful. We are so blessed to have each and everyone of you in our lives. We love you!

Last, here is a video of Barrick climbing around at the Jefferson Memorial and I thought it was too cute not to add.
I also tried to get a video of the babies on here but it wouldn't work so I will leave that for another post.

Stats and Home Depot!

Saturday Scotty had the day off and he was able to get away from studying so we decided to take Barrick to Home Depot for the kid day. He had such a fun time and the project was perfect for Barrick!! It was so nice to get out all together as a family. (Sorry the pictures aren't the greatest they were taken on our phones.)

Here is the finished project, a little shelf for the kids cars.
Barrick hard at work.
He didn't really want me to help just Daddy.
He is showing me the nail that he is getting ready to hammer.
Here it is at home with some of his cars on it.

The babies also had there two month appt. and it went really well!! I got a babysitter for Barrick, (thanks Nicole) and the babies did great!! WOW can I tell you how much I LOVE the clinic at Scottys school!! For those of you who don't know at Scottys school they have a clinic for students and their families, and people who work at the school and they are amazing!! When I got there they already had a couple of people there to help, which with two babies another set of arms is really nice. I also had my 6 week postpartum check up and while I was in they took the babies and got there shots done had them dressed and back asleep by the time I was done. They also had a room ready for me to go feed the babies in, they are the best!!

Here are the stats.

Liam
12 lbs. 41%
(he went from the 6% at 2 weeks, that is why we call him chunk)
57.5 cm 19%

Lilly
9 lbs. 6 oz. 8%
55.5 cm 14%

Here they are together, I tried to catch Lillys smile but we caught just the tail end. She is a little harder to catch on camera.

Last, here is Liam smiling. Don't you just want to eat those chubby cheeks!!
