My first day home I let the kids play in the van for a bit while I cleaned the house. Guess I forgot to sweep the car for paraphernalia. Barrick found some mascara (which later Aleese told me is waterproof, guess this means something....) and decided to paint himself, his siblings, and the interior of our car.

SO, Daddy failed on day one. Thats ok. The rest of the week we did some individual "dates" with the kids. Barrick decided he wanted to buy this mask for mommy for her birthday this week. Yeah, I didn't buy it.
We also spent a ton of time outside, trying to maximize the good weather. Aleese went to some womanish activity at the church so I was able to hang out with her friend Leisy's kids-Zeb and Ike. The kiddos decided to tie up the trees in the backyard with a rope and then wanted to jump in leaf piles. It was pretty fun to be honest!

To end it all I've allowed my only daughter to become an alcoholic....geez, guess i'll never be left in charge of the kids alone (hint hint!)
