SICK, SICK, SICK!!!!

Well it seems like my house can't get enough sickness!!! Since we got back from Utah over Christmas we have had...

1 ER visit for Liam

1 febrile seizure

throw up

diarrhea

running noses

coughs

fevers

everything!

So a lot of my days are spent....

Looking at little faces wanting to be held all day.
Always having at least one child in my arms all day.
Pajamas and more pajamas!

Trying to keep the other kids who aren't sick entertained. Obviously I wast not doing a good enough job for Barrick. Poor little guy he resulted to sticking forks in the carpet.

I can finally say I think they are starting to get better! Still a little fever this last weekend but this morning all three kids were happy and healthy! Hopefully it will stay that way!

GREEN!

Many things that I LOVE are green!

First these bibs!! They are amazing in every way, they are easy to clean, and more importantly cover about every inch of my little ones!

Barricks Leapster, aka "leaper" this amazing invention has save my life on many occasions. (Especially this last weekend when we flew to Utah and back in a 53 hour time frame.) Thank you whoever invented this I very much appreciate it!!
This fuzzy green blanket! I am one of those people who always has to have a blanket if I am lounging.
Green grass is starting to appear at my house and I couldn't be happier.
Oh my little green Bissel where would I be without you!! I really think I use this at least twice a week!
Our little green Tag Junior! This is one of those toys that we save for desperation mode because we know it will do the trick!
Green LA looks gel, yes you are cheap but you last forever and you do the job! Thank you for all the cute spikes you create on my boys hair.
Gain laundry soap. Yes I grew up a Tide girl, but for some reason the skin in our house does not like tide. So my love since I was married is Gain.
My little neon green phone, thank you for being my link to the outside world and helping me have some what of a life!
But the green I LOVE the most are these three little cuties! (Who will not be pinched.)

Happy Saint Patrick's day!!

Fun Outings!

The last couple of weeks we have gotten a little stir crazy in our house waiting for spring to arrive. So here are a couple of things we have done the last little bit to make it come a little faster.

We went to mall and rode the train and got lunch with our friends.

Here is Scotty and Barrick, they rode in the cart behind them with Barrick's friend but I didn't get a good picture of all three of them.

Lilly and Nicole. Don't you love their coordinating blue's in the blue cart.
Me and my Liam boy.

Another day Barrick and I went on date to see Gnomeo and Juliet. We had so much! Once the movie was over he turned to me and said "Mommy can we watch that again?"

All though it was a sad moment for me when he didn't ask once to sit on my lap in the theater. I even asked about half way through if wanted to sit on my lap and he said "no thanks mom Barrick okay" He sat like a big boy in his seat the whole movie!

Yesterday we met with a bunch of Friends to go to the park and have a picnic. The kids had a great time.

It started out a little like this with Barrick asleep on the swing, he was exhausted because I found him awake and playing his Leapster at 930 that night!!! If you don't know my kids go to bed just after 7 so 930 is REALLY LATE! Don't you love the apple in his hands.

After eating lunch they all perked right up and wanted to play all day!! It was so nice to be outside and see all the buds coming out on the trees! Spring is just around the corner and we can't wait.

My Barrick Boy!!

I would have to say this little boy is a one of a kind! Like my mom always tells me he is the product of his father and for those of you who know Scotty well, he is also one of a kind but lucky for me my favorite kind:)

One night while getting the kids ready for bed Barrick and Liam disappeared and we started to smell something minty. Barrick is notorious for eating toothpaste so we knew it had to do with the toothpaste. We found Barrick and Liam huddled in the corner behind Lilly's bed and found this all over the floor, we punished and put Barrick on time out and Liam ran off...

We then found Liam playing in the bathroom cupboard and he is not supposed to play in there so he tried to run off...
When he turned around this is what we found. We were too busy punishing Barrick that Liam went under the radar. He and Barrick thought it was pretty funny, so did we but of course we couldn't tell them that.
If you haven't gathered from all of the pictures Barrick LOVES pajamas!! He is getting better at staying in his clothes but for a while he would change all day from one pair to another.

These were two separate occasions where I found him outside. At least in the snow picture he decided to put Daddy's work boots on. In the bottom one he was being a monster and scaring me and the babies.

Like we said in our Christmas card, Barrick looks at life like a Diego adventure there is always something exciting just around the corner.

Tonight for example, out of no where he came down with his "rope" and "climbing shoes" and told me was going to climb the "steep, steep wall and get all the treats in the kitchen." (He didn't like what I was making for dinner). The funny thing is he has been able to climb on the counters for about a year now but he wanted to make it a little more fun!

He finally gave up on the rope. :)
Barrick and his Boogies!! Where do I begin? Well the original is the small one and after losing him at church one week Barrick was devastated, Boogie was no ordinary stuffed animal he never left Barrick's side so when he was lost we got on amazon and found a replacement asap. Lucky us we found the same tiger but they only had the bigger size so while waiting for "Boogie" to come in the mail I was showing him pictures everyday so he got used to the idea of a bigger boogie.

Well the day he was to arrive I was so excited when I got that knock on the door and was horrified when I opened the box and there was a little cheetah. So I immediately went to amazon to check if they got the order wrong and no that was no the case; Barrick had been clicking on all the pictures and ended up buying this cheetah. Yes Barrick is just as computer savvy as I am. So the moral of the story don't let your three year old navigate around amazon account.

As you can see this Boogie is very loved. Here is Boogie with his blanket, snack and his toy.
A day back in December Barrick was playing while I was cooking and I could hear him opening our back door and yelling "here birdie birdie" "come and too too" I was half paying attention but started to get frustrated. First it was December and freezing, and second I have two babies who b line it to the door the second it is opened.
Well I of course got angry and Barrick fell apart and he just kept yelling "too too" I had no idea what he was talking about and I went on my usual talks about wild animals and how they have to stay outside. He would not stop crying and saying "too too". He finally calmed down and pulled me over to the clock and said "Mommy it is too cold and the birdie doesn't have a home so he needs to come live in our too too clock" Yes it finally clicked and this sweet little boy was worried about the bird. Earlier in the week I had talked to him about how the birds can't live in the cold so they go where it is warm. He is such a sweet little boy and just wanted the birdie to come live in our clock.
For a long time Barrick has been asking for a pet and we told him he could have a fish so this last Saturday Scotty took him to pick out a fish. Barrick and Daddy spent sometime looking and of course Barrick chose a tiger fish and surprise surprise name him Boogie.
They came home and got the tank all set up fed the fish and Barrick was in love! Later he then decided to name him Ponyo.
Well Scotty left town Sunday, and when we went to feed Ponyo he would not eat. Of course this would happen when Scotty wasn't home well at this point I was just waiting for the fish to die because he wouldn't eat. Sure enough yesterday afternoon we found little Ponyo belly up. Barrick ran down after quiet time to say hello and kept saying "swim Ponyo!!" He then sensed something was wrong and started crying. He then blamed the rocks and said "the rocks are too heavy let me shake the bowl." At this point my heart was breaking. I sat him down and gave him a talk about how Ponyo died, and Barrick would not have it. He kept crying and saying anything and everything that we could do to make Ponyo better. Then after crying for a while and telling him we would get another fish I thought he was okay, then he started crying and said "Mommy Jesus can make Ponyo better." He is so right, we had a good talk and Barrick finally calmed down. He has such a tender little heart and it was nice to know as a parent that he is listening during FHE and primary. He is now excited to go choose another fish when daddy comes home.

We are so lucky to have this sweet boy in our family!! He brings so much love into our home! We love you buddy!!

Valentines day fun!

Hugs and kisses.

Love notes.

Roses.

Chocolates.

Valentine candy.

Making Valentines cupcakes.

Friends.

Pink Brinner (breakfast for dinner) with heart shaped pancakes.

Take out. (for mom and dad)

Fun night watching a movie.

Yes our day was full of this fun stuff, but honestly it looked a little more like this.

and this.
With 1 burned little finger

1 topple down the stairs.

Molars coming in on two sad little babies.

1 run in with the wall resulting in a little black eye.

1 tumble off the a spinning chair. (don't ask, just picture skinny Barrick and a spinning office chair, need I say more)

A very short 40 min. nap for two sad babies.

1 cupcake getting smeared into the carpet.

3 screaming kids fighting for attention.

Yes a lot of our days go like this and there are a lot of days I cry right along with them. Even with all of this I wouldn't change a thing because I get to have these three little cuties, along with the most amazing man in the world as my Valentines.
I hope you all had a Happy Valentines!!

Daddy's Birthday!!!

Well this week we celebrated this cute guys birthday. Tuesday the kids and I had fun putting up "decolations" as Barrick would say. We made cake and the kids each made their own birthday sign for daddy.
He opened his present a week early because it showed up on our doorstep, and after many explanations to Barrick that we had to wait till Daddy's actual birthday we caved when those big alligator tears started flowing and telling us "but I picked it especially for daddy". So daddy got his universal remote and playstation adapter early.

Here is daddy when he walked in the door after work, ready to celebrate with the kids.
Daddy blowing out his candles.
Daddy with his three favorite kiddos.
As you can see Lilly...
Liam...
and Barrick were all so happy to celebrate daddy's birthday. (Especially eating the cake)
Then mommy and daddy were off on a date to celebrate!

We love you so much! Thanks so much for being the best Dad and husband ever! Thank you for always making us laugh and making our lives better everyday! WE LOVE YOU! Happy Birthday!
