Christmas was such a fun day!! This year Scotty was able to get Christmas off and it was wonderful!! We started our day out surprisingly late, I think it was left over from being sick, but we were honestly dragging some of the kids out of bed. Of course we talked about Christmas and what it really is all about, then they anxiously awaited their turn at the top of the stairs to go and see their presents!
We go youngest to oldest going down one at a time, so Barrick was learning a lot of patience!
For documentation purposes here is each kids pile of presents! Barricks pile first!!
Lillys pile!
Liams pile!
Brionys pile. Yes is it small but hey she is only 7 months!
The kids had so much fun!! The day was filled with yummy food, (my favorite baked french toast) playing with presents, dancing, playing some more, and watching Christmas movies. It was the BEST, low key relaxing day!
Barricks favorite toy was his Leap Pad! He LOVES this!
Lilly with her Fairies, and Liam with his Spiderman! These kids played with these for HOURS!
We were in a race with Briony all day!! Who could get to the wrapper first!! She is quit determined when it comes to paper! She had such a great day!
Happy Liam with candy filled teeth! This year we decided they would get 3 candy canes and one candy tube. Best decision ever!! They each had a couple of pieces each and that was it!
All four kiddos anxiously awaiting their present to get opened. LOVE those kiddos.
Scotty with a couple of his gifts!
The best part of the day for me was sibling gift exchange. This was the first year they really understood thinking about and buying a gift for a sibling. They LOVED it!! It was so sweet to see each of them get so excited to give the other their gift!! I LOVE these chicken little's of mine! They make life so wonderful and I feel so blessed that they are mine!
My favorite part of the day was sitting around watching my sweet little family enjoy a wonderful holiday while looking at my blog books, that Scotty got made for me, and anxiously awaiting my trip back to Utah that he planned for me coming up in a few weeks.
Such a wonderful Christmas that was topped off with a wonderful night!! We had our friends the Faizis come over that night for dinner. It was wonderful because we had company coming we got all the presents, boxes, toys, clothes the whole lot cleaned and put away. We planned to put all of our kids to bed then enjoy a nice evening eating and talking with just adults. Yet again because I was too busy enjoying myself I didn't take any pictures. It was so fun though. I got to use my Christmas table set and we had honey glazed ham, potatoes, green been casserole, rolls, salad, yummy appetizers, and delicious cookies for dessert! Such a fun night!! Our Christmas couldn't have been any better!!
