Snow fun!!

Snow, snow, snow.  Yes we finally  got snow this year which makes me very happy!  Why most Ohioans stay inside and bunker down, we went to a movie, went to dinner, and enjoyed playing in it as much as possible.  It didn't last very long since it is now 60 degrees today, but at least we have gotten a couple of really good storms!
You see these little kiddos HATE being cold!!  I don't blame them they have no fat on their little bodies, but all they have done all winter is complain that they want summer.  So, to have this snow has been wonderful because they like the snow just not the cold temperatures!  Here they are all geared up and ready to go!
Lilly has made huge strides this year!!  Last year she sat by the door and watched, this year she actually enjoyed it and was the last one to come inside!
They LOVED it!  They made snow angels.

Explored the back yard and the forest behind our house, and just had so much fun!!

Seriously look at those smiles!!  They played outside till they couldn't feel their little fingers!

Scotty also made the worlds best snowman!!  The kids bailed when it got dark and close to dinner but seriously look at that snowman!
 AMAZING right?

Then last but not least this little princess,  She can't go out and enjoy the snow quite yet, but she sure loves eating the left over snow off the ground!

3 years old!!

Three came very fast for these little crazy twins of mine!!  With Barricks birthday just five days before Lilly and Liams they are more then ready to have the day be all about them.  Scotty worked so we had a day planned with just the five of us, and a party scheduled for that night when Scotty got home!  We had a sick car that week so we were stuck in the house but we made it a fun day!
We played dress ups all morning!  There is nothing Lilly and Liam love more then wearing this spiderman outfit and Lilly her princess dress ups.  At some point of everyday they are wearing these.
We played, had a movie party and picnic.
Then finally daddy came home and the presents, cake and fun commenced! Liam with all of his gifts!
Here is Lilly with all of her gifts, they were spoiled!
A couple days before their birthday Barrick came to Scotty and I and said.  "Mom, Dad since I got a new Leap Pad I want to give Liam my Leapster".  Liam LOVES Barricks Leapster and I was so proud that Barrick was thoughtful enough to give Liam his toy.

Both Lilly and Liam wanted cupcakes for their dessert and I was more then happy to make them!  So much easier!  I told both of them I would use frosting to paint a picture on the plate and this is what they wanted.  A spidrman, and 1 pink flower.  So this was as good at it got:)
As you can see they LOVED the cupcakes!  It was a wonderful day!!  We are so happy to have these two in our lives!!  We love you Lilly and Liam!

Christmas 2012!!

Christmas was such a fun day!!  This year Scotty was able to get Christmas off and it was wonderful!!  We started our day out surprisingly late, I think it was left over from being sick, but we were honestly dragging some of the kids out of bed.  Of course we talked about Christmas and what it really is all about, then they anxiously awaited their turn at the top of the stairs to go and see their presents!
We go youngest to oldest going down one at a time, so Barrick was learning a lot of patience!
For documentation purposes here is each kids pile of presents!  Barricks pile first!!
 Lillys pile!
 Liams pile!
Brionys pile.  Yes is it small but hey she is only 7 months!

The kids had so much fun!!  The day was filled with yummy food, (my favorite baked french toast) playing with presents, dancing, playing some more, and watching Christmas movies.  It was the BEST, low key relaxing day!
Barricks favorite toy was his Leap Pad!  He LOVES this!
Lilly with her Fairies, and Liam with his Spiderman!  These kids played with these for HOURS!
We were in a race with Briony all day!!  Who could get to the wrapper first!!  She is quit determined when it comes to paper!  She had such a great day!
Happy Liam with candy filled teeth!  This year we decided they would get 3 candy canes and one  candy tube.  Best decision ever!!  They  each had a couple of pieces each and that was it!
All four kiddos anxiously awaiting their present to get opened.  LOVE those kiddos.

Scotty with a couple of his gifts!
The best part of the day for me was sibling gift exchange.  This was the first year they really understood thinking about and buying a gift for a sibling.  They LOVED it!!  It was so sweet to see each of them get so excited to give the other their gift!!  I LOVE these chicken little's of mine!  They make life so wonderful and I feel so blessed that they are mine!
My favorite part of the day was sitting around watching my sweet little family enjoy a wonderful holiday while looking at my blog books, that Scotty got made for me, and anxiously awaiting my trip back to Utah that he planned for me coming up in a few weeks.

Such a wonderful Christmas that was topped off with a wonderful night!!  We had our friends the Faizis come over that night for dinner.  It was wonderful because we had company coming we got all the presents, boxes, toys, clothes the whole lot cleaned and put away.  We planned to put all of our kids to bed then enjoy a nice evening eating and talking with just adults. Yet again because I was too busy enjoying myself I didn't take any pictures.  It was so fun though.  I got to use my Christmas table set and we had honey glazed ham, potatoes, green been casserole, rolls, salad, yummy appetizers, and delicious cookies for dessert!  Such a fun night!!  Our Christmas couldn't have been any better!!

Christmas Eve!

I think Scotty and I were inspired because the night of the 22nd the day before Barricks birthday we decided to get all Christmas/birthday presents ready to go.  Little did we know everyone would get a 24 hour NASTY stomach flu on Barricks birthday that carried over to Christmas eve.

So Christmas eve was spent laying around watching movies, snuggling on the couch, and sleeping.  By the afternoon everyone was better and they were so excited to open their Christmas eve present (pajamas) that night!
The three older kids opening presents!!  Ignore my ugliness in all of the pictures.  I was up all night cleaning carpet, bathing kids, changing sheets, and helping Scotty while he camped out next to the toilet all night.  Yes I was the only one who did not get the throw ups!!!

Briony opening/eating her present!!

Of course just another picture because she is so dang cute!!! Seriously those dimples kill me!! She makes everything in life better!
All the kiddos in their jammies.
The whole family with our matching Jammies. This picture makes me laugh!! Barrick is not smiling he is screaming, and all of the other three look pretty excited right?:)
Last but not least cookies and a letter for Santa!!! Barrick was so excited to write Santa a letter and tell him how good all of the kids had been! We had a great holdiay, and were even more grateful we were healthy by Christmas day!

5 years old!!

Well this sweet little boy of mine finally turned 5!!!  He has been looking forward to this birthday for a long time!  With most of his friends being in his church class Barrick is the youngest of all of his friends.  He literally has been counting down the days. We made a chain from my birthday, which is October 15th, all the way to Lilly and Liam's birthday December 28th.  Color coordinated for each holiday and month, plus he crossed off each day on our Calendar.  So to say he was excited to turn 5 is an understatement.
It was such a nice day!  It fell on a Sunday this year which I LOVED!!  Scotty luckily had the day off and we woke up opened presents had his choice of breakfast (Doughnuts) and headed out to church.  It was such a fun low key day.

Here he is anxiously awaiting opening his presents.
Checking out his new Angry Birds game!
Upon request he wanted pizza, and to be able to make it himself.  So we got pizza ingredients and made our own personal pizzas.
Barrick happy as a clam making his pepperoni pizza.  Then it was time for party time!!  We did a pinata, and the kids loved it!!  We they could have done this all night!
Lilly swinging as hard as she could!
Liam taking his turn!
Last our sweet Barrick boy!! He had such a wonderful day.  He kept telling me all day this is the BEST day EVER!!!
We finished our Pinata and went to have cake and ice cream and Scotty started throwing up, then shortly after Lilly started throwing up.  So between cleaning up vomit , bathing Lilly, cleaning bathrooms, and getting the cake ready I only got a video of Barrick with his cake.  It was a WONDERFUL day and I am SO grateful the sickness didn't hit until 730 pm!!  I have never met a more lovable kid!!  We adore this little boy and I am so grateful for this sweet boy of mine, that I thought I would never have.  I love you more then anything my Barrick boy HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Parties and Santa!

Our Christmas season was also full of parties.  Ward, work, school, and friend parties. Here are the kids at our Church party, and Scotty's work party!  The kids loved seeing Santa and always had their favorite toy ready to tell him what they wanted. I am lucky to have kids that know exactly what they want, so their is no changing toys at the last minute.  I knew for months before Christmas exactly what each of them wanted.
Barrick always told Santa that he was  a very good boy and that he wanted a Leap Pad.

Liam on the other hand wants everything Spiderman.  He found the old 1967 spiderman cartoon on Netflix and he has been hooked ever since!

Lilly on the other hand wanted everything princess or Tinkerbell.  She is all girl!!  Just in the last month have I gotten her to stop calling the color red, red/pink.  She loves pink so much and would only have pink plates and we finally got her to have red by telling her that it was like pink which was stupid because she insisted from that moment on that red was actually red/pink!!!

Of course one with all of the kids!!  Seriously could they be any cuter!!  I could eat them up, yes they drive me little crazy sometimes but man alive they are GREAT kids!!
