Life.

What a weekend!! The highlights were holding a screaming, flailing, out of control 19 month old down so he can recieve breathing treatments. Can you tell how much I like to do it. Also another awesome thing about his breathing treatments is he gets bloody noses (sorry Liam that is my bad genes) and one morning we woke up to blood covering Liams bedroom!! Also he coughed so hard in the night he threw up. It was a great surprise!
All of this why Scotty is going on his 14th straight day of working 12-16 hour shifts. UGH!!! Was I worn out!!

So Friday we spent all day in our Pjs A-because Liam was having a hard time breathing.
and B-Scotty was working a late shift at the hospital. So with a lazy day at home and no daddy it was frozen pizza for dinner. Here is the evidence. Barrick wanted to take pictures of their pizza faces.
Liams was more of an oreo face.
Lillys was more of a Ranch dressing face.
Which with the Pizza sauce and Ranch combined resulted in burned skin. (Yes another awesome gene I gave to my children, very sensitive skin!)

This week however things are looking up. Liam is much better and our weekend didn't result in a visit to the hospital!
So onto the fun! One of our daily activities is spinning on the office chair. Yes my kids are entertained easily.

Riding cars, and tricycles on the deck. Yes I know you are wondering why I don't go out on the sidewalk, just call me over protective I guess. With three little ones going in different directions it is still too scary.

And last, ending the day with homemade apple juice pop-cycles. Barricks latest favorite snack!

So here is to a much healthier happier week!

Lilly Milly.

Blankie
Bink
and Lamby (who is hidden under the blanket) =happy, content, and the BEST sleeper ever!!!

Well as you can see her favorite Bink is not in good shape, and her blanket is unraveling which means it is time to be thrown away.
I was able to ween her off of her blanket, yes you heard me ween. My kids are CRAZY over their blankets. I knew this day would come so about 6 months ago I put another blanket in the crib with her and within the last month she stopped throwing it out. So when we made the switch with Liam we took her blankie away.

As for the bink I didn't have the heart for that one yet. The bink will have to stay for a while, she only has it when she sleeps and it is 8:30 and she is still asleep upstairs. Who wants to give that up?? Not me. Sleep=happy Lilly.

The time has come!

Liam has been able to climb out of his crib for months, but after a fall a couple months ago he hasn't attempted for a while. Well, Liam decided about two weeks ago that he was tired of being in his crib and all at once the stripping/peeing/pooing/climbing out of his crib phase hit in full force. We of course tried everything (how kids get a diaper off with clothes still on is a mystery to me) and after days of him peeing through all of our sheets, climbing in to Lilly's crib and taking her clothes off, the time had finally come.

Yes I did it, I moved Liam into Barricks room and into a big boy bed:( Seriously one of the hardest things for me. I hated the fact that I was separating the babies. They have always been together and they LOVE being in the same room. They loved to play and laugh and bedtime was easy. I think Lilly has cried maybe 3 times EVER when we lay her down for bed, and she was hysterical!!! It was a "I am scared cry" and it broke my heart! It had to happen though, (FYI when your kids climb out of their cribs it is time for a big bed no matter how young. One negative thing about Scotty being a pediatrician they see, hear, and learn from other doctors all of terrible things that can happen, and believe me a lot of horrible things have happened with kids climbing out of cribs.)
We decided that sooner or later they would have to be in separate rooms and why not do it now. Yes Liam didn't fall asleep untill 10:30, Barrick was amazing and kept telling Liam to get in bed and he fell asleep like normal, and Lilly cried for about 20 minutes but I would say overall it was a successful night!

The upside is I get to decorate a girl room for this little princess. Wish me luck that tonight will go as well as last night!

HOT!!!

Can I tell you how hot it is!!! Yes it is way too HOT for my liking!!! I am tired of walking outside to get the mail and my feet burning on the sidewalk. I am tired of my kids refusing to play outside because it is too HOT! I am sick of worrying that at any minute my air conditioning will go out and we will start cooking in our house. (we have already had it break twice this summer) Overall it hasn't been too bad I always have to remind myself it could always be worse.
So with this horrible heat we have had to be creative with our time since most of it is spent in the house.

Barrick decided to make up his own game where he would jump off the back of the couch then press his head against the carpet and chase after the babies screaming "I am the carpet monstor!!" Well if you look closely at this cute little face you can see his war wound from being the carpet monster. He started crying and screaming "MY HEAD and BRAIN are on FIRE!!!" Yes I know quite the dramatics but it was hilarious! He then insisted that I hold a wet rag on his head for about and hour because heaven forbid his hand gets wet from the rag. Silly boy!
With Lilly all you have to give her is a basket, bucket, box, bag, any kind of container and she is as happy as can be. She will sit in it, fill it up, push her brothers around in them basically anything you can think of she does. Be warned though if you try and take it from our miss Lilly she will give you an ear full. Lilly is going through that screaming phase where it is the loudest, highest pitched scream you can imagine. The kind where it is embarrassing and you can hear it from miles away. I may be even more deaf then I already am after our little miss.
Here is the Lilly, Liam saga played out in pictures. Lilly happily playing with her bowl and nick- nacks. You can see Liam in the background plotting out his attack. Yes the toothbrush he is holding he already stole from her 5 minutes earlier. Then obviously the attack with Lillys sunglasses (which on a side note she would wear all day if I let her) and then quickly followed by her out of this world scream that followed.

Liam is going through a pick on my brother and sister phase. He is always right there getting in Lilly and Barricks way with a smile and a little giggle to go along. Lilly is a little more patient and it usually turns into a game but Barrick not so much. It is constant all day, if Lilly is pushing the laundry basket around Liam jumps in it. If Barrick is building blocks Liam goes and knocks them over. Even though he annoys the other kids I have to say he is the most obedient child! So even though I have to get after him for picking on them he always stops when I ask and then always gives me a love and kiss that follows.

So yes even with this yucky hot weather we are still having fun!!

Don't you love her dress! My mom makes all of the grand kids blessing outfits and Payton looked beautiful!
Here is Lulu wearing my shoes and sunglasses and yes she works them much better then I do.
Getting snuggles from baby Payton. Thanks Austin and Andrea for letting me come and share such a special weekend with you guys! We love you!

4th Festvities!

We had a great 4th! First off Scotty was scheduled to work but they later decided to let him have it off so it made the day even better! We had a ward BBQ and later another BBQ at our house. It was a fun filled day spent with wonderful friends and family.

An action shot of Barrick playing a little Frisbee. I couldn't stop him for more then 3 seconds at a time so the pictures of the B man are very scarce!
Our sweet Liam boy. Lilly is quite the little mommy. These two LOVE taking care of the other, so here is Lilly feeding Liam.

Here is our Lilly, and I LOVE this face! This is the face she gives to people she doesn't quit know. She is a hard one to crack especially with men. She loves women, but if a man is around this is the look she gives them. It takes her a while to warm up, but once she feels comfortable around you the loves don't stop coming!

Liam with his crooked cheese smile. This is his cheese face and once the camera comes out he won't stop saying cheese ("eeeee" in Liam language) and gives me this cute little face. Liam on the other hand will love on anyone who gives him food. His life is ruled by his stomach. He would just go and sit on someones lap hoping for food. He ate more then all of us combined!
Lilly having a try at Frisbee and Liam playing a little soccer.

Last the only half decent pictures I got of all three kids.

I hope you all had a wonderful day celebrating our wonderful country! Happy 4th!
