4th of July!!

We had such a great 4th of July.  The Columbus Zoo was having a free weekend for Military families, so we decided it was a great way to celebrate the holiday.  Scotty has a cousin in Columbus and they came and joined us for the fun filled day.  They have kids the same age as ours and they all had such a great time.  

Briony loved the reptile house.  I think that was the favorite for all of our kids.  

Lilly does not love animals, and was not excited about the zoo.  She sat in the stoller a lot of the day, but loved the aquarium.  She loves sea animals, so that kept her entertained and happy!  Briony on the other hand loved everything! 

We then went over to the Writers house for dinner.  It was so fun to let the kids play and do fireworks.  They had such a good time and good food made it even better.  

We then drove back to Dayton to see the Tipp City fireworks with our friends.  We are those lame parents who never take our kids to fireworks.  When my kids go to be at 7:45,  10:00 oclock fireworks are way too late.  This was the year we promised they could stay up and see them.  Yes after a long day outside at the zoo, the were pretty tired and we had a few tears but they had a great time!  It was even a little chilly which for July 4th in Ohio is not common, I LOVED it!!

Last, one of these two cuties.  Seriously that face on cora is the best!!
