Halloween Fun!

Yes like the rest of you we had many fun and exciting Halloween parties. It was full of
games,
very cute costumes,
yummy food,
friends,
and of course lots and lots of candy!

Barrick really loved Halloween this year because he could really understand it. A day didn't go by where he asked to watch Halloween Mickey, Halloween Diego, Halloween Dora, you get the idea. He has also used his magic to turn me into a pumpkin, a black cat, a white cat, he loves to use his "Hocus Pocus magic." We enjoyed Halloween and we hope all you did too.

Here we are the ward Trunk or Treat.

Liam was obviously to busy watching the trick or treaters. Yes I know I am wearing the same thing as our last post, but it is a Saturday which means it is game day and we have to show our support for our team! GO UTES!!

This was the one and only picture barrick took and he insisted I put it on.
Our cute little lions in the back of the van.
Barrick, Lucy and Bella.
By this time of night he was tired and cold and just wanted to be held.
Here we are with the Bahrs, their little guy Jackson turned one that day.
Me and the kids with our friends Mia and Adele.
Our little Lions hanging out.

Barrick showing off his cool costume, he refused to wear the mask.

We also went to Scottys annual Halloween party at his school. We spent the first 40 minutes outside because a fire alarm went off but it was such a fun afternoon and the kids had so much fun!
On a side note, you can tell who the babies wanted that day. I was holding the camera and Scotty was sitting off to the side.

Barrick was more concerned about the babies.
Lilly why we were trick or treating.
Barrick super happy with a cupcake all over his face.
A picture of the babies.
Barrick trick or treating.
Last, out little Liam trick or treating. As you can tell he was very tired! We had such a wonderful weekend!

In other news, Barrick had his yearly ophthalmology appointment, and other then his blue eye turning green things are still the same. Because Heterochromia is so rare his Doctor is doing a case study and presentation on Barrick and he wanted updated pictures so these are Barricks eyes at almost 3 years old.
Pretty cool right?
He is now realizing his eyes are different and he loves it. He loves telling people that he has one green eye and one brown eye. He is so much fun!

More importantly Barrick is now officially potty trained. He could have been about six months ago, but I didn't have the time or energy to do it, but we are so proud of him! Good job Barrick!!

Baby Einstein!

Among the craziness of this week with sickness, sleepless nights, ornery kids, did I say ORNERY kids, I found something that gave me just enough of a break so I could atleast go to the bathroom. Thank you Baby Einstein for entertaining my children for those 10 minutes everyday I really needed it!

But to my surprise after having Barrick sick for over a week this morning my happy little buddy is back!! He woke up, had a normal amount tantrums, ate his food, he didn't insist on laying down all morning, and just over all better!! Can I tell you how happy this makes me!

I love this little guy, even with breakfast all over his face! SO CUTE!

Sick AGAIN, and Pumpkin Patch!

Well this last week started out with fevers, coughs, runny noses, and yes these fun rashes from all three kids. There has to be some kind of rule that your whole family can't get sick twice within a 5 week period!!

Here is Liam Sporting his fun rash. We still don't know where his came from.

Lillys was food related and we have it narrowed down to cinamon or eggs.

Yes even being sick they still are this happy a good part of the day. After 5:30 at night our house gets a little scary especially since Scotty hasn't been home until after the kids are in bed all week. But who can complain when I have moments like these where they are so happy fighting over this car.

So, when they were having a better day we decided to venture out of the house and go to the pumpkin patch with some friends. Of course Barrick couldn't leave home without being absolutely comfortable. Who can blame him that is what I want when I am not 100%
We had a great time, Barrick was so happy to get out of the house and just be able to run around!
Here is one of the whole family.
All night Barrick would not look at the camera and smile normal, this was the result of about 5 pictures.
So of course we had to resort to tickling to get a natural picture of our sweet little boy. Barrick LOVED picking out his pumpkin, he would grab one and say "this is the one mama", but of course did that to about ten pumpkins.
Here is Barrick after finally picking his pumpkin.
Liam was a little more interested in eating the pumpkin.
Lilly like the weeds.

We had a great night and a much needed break from the house! Now we all just need to get healthy!

Week in Review

I don't know about you guys but I LOVE the fall and most of all I love buying new warm snuggly pajamas. So Saturday, Scotty and I were on a mission to find Pajamas, and warm clothes for Lilly and Barrick considering we came home to weather in the fiftys. (We loved it) The night we drove in, we got out of the car and we could see our breath, we were like giddy little kids! There is nothing better then crisp fall air! Need I mention there is nothing prettier then fall in Maryland.

Off to the store we went but had to stop and get a couple shots of these three all strapped in and looking so cute!

I know it can get tiring looking at basically the same picture but from different angles, but I loved them so I had to put them all up.
Yes one more, I know I know.
We had a very fun day! We came home with lots of jammies, and a couple of other things for the kids. We had Greek food for lunch, and ice cream for dessert, doesn't get much better then that!

Here is the end result three clean, sweet smelling cuties all snug in there warm Pjs before bed!
Our little Lilly sometimes gets a little carried away with her bottle and here is an example of that!

Don't you just love fall this is by far one of my favorite parts! I am going to go snuggle up with these three and watch a fun Halloween movie!!

But before I do that I need to give some updates on these three little munchkins.

Barrick
-Barrick is fast approaching his 3rd birthday and it makes me so sad because he is getting too big!! He is very excited for his birthday he will tell you it comes when it snows on D-ember twenty three and he gets to see his gmas and gpas, and Muki. (my parents dog)
-He is the smartest little boy he remembers things better then I do.
-He says the sweetest most thoughtful prayers.
-He loves his brother and sister everytime they wake up he screams and does a wake up song and dance for them.
-He LOVES reading swiptures (scriptures) he loves the stories and talks about them a lot. Never lets us forget to read them.
-He still loves to organize things.
-He has now cut a nap out of the day, it is now quite time.
-He really understands the holidays this year. He is very excited for Halloween and asks everyday to go take his pumpkin and go get treats.
-He LOVES listening to music but insists that it is a fast one.
-He loves to sing songs in the car his favorite is the peanut song.
-He loves Diego or in his words (Ego) When the song comes on he sings his little heart out!
-We are so lucky to have this little man in our lives we love you Barrick!

Lilly
-She is CRAZY!!! She squeals and screams all day long!
-She was a lot slower at crawling then Liam, but once she got the hang of it she is fast!!
-She loves being outside if she sees the door open she b-lines it to the door.
-She doesn't like baby food anymore. She wants what we eat and she does pretty good at it for 2 teeth.
-She LOVES eating her bows and flowers, it frustrates me but that it keeps her as happy as can be!
-She is the happiest in the bath she splashes and screams! She is our little fish she can't get enough of it.
-Lilly still has her binky when she sleeps at night and if by chance it falls out of her crib she is not very happy.
-She is so social when we are out and about she laughs and jabbers to everyone around. She LOVES attention!
-I remember before we had the babies talking about what it will be like when they can stand and see each other across the room while in bed. WOW it is funny they just talk and giggle at each other it is so sweet to listen to and to watch.
-Barrick calls Lilly his little princess and she truly is that. She is loved by all the men in her life. Scotty and the boys adore her and take such good care of her.

Liam
-Just the picture below says enough. This little man is a heart breaker.
-He takes after me and LOVES food. You can put anything in front of him and he will eat it. If you are eating in front of him and not sharing he is not happy.
-He seriously has the prettiest eyes ever! I am jealous they obviously are in Scotty and my genes but neither of us got them!
-He is like Barrick and LOVES balls, he could play with them all day long!
-Liam adores Barrick if Barrick even looks his way he laughs and follows him everywhere.
-He is no longer a chunk. All of my kids did the same thing at about 2-4 months they get chunky then thin out and stay that way.
-He has the best balance, once he is standing he lets go and just smiles because he loves the reaction he gets out me.
-He is very playful, if you just attempt to chase him he starts laughing and crawls away.
-He has his own agenda and if you get in the way he gets very sad! Especially if it involves taking something away from him.
-He is such a cuddly little guy! I always wanted a cuddly baby and I finally got one!

We are so blessed to have these three little ones!

Texas and September fun!

Well another month and more time away from home. In September Scotty had his last interview rotation in San Antonio so it is a huge relief to finally be done! For those of you who don't know Scotty is going into Pediatrics and wants to specialize in Gastroenterology. He still has his residency to decide if that is what he wants to specialize in but for now that is the plan. We are excited and anticipating graduation but sad we are moving away from what we have made our home.
In San Antonio we were lucky enough to stay with my brother and his family and we had so much fun!

I took this picture before we left to celebrate the fact that all three of my kids are finally in the same diaper size. For a while I was having to buy 3 different diaper sizes you can only imagine the looks I would get at the grocery store, especially living on the east coast. Of course Barrick is now potty training so to be down to two kids in diapers will be awesome!!
This is what the ride down to San Antonio looked like. I drove most of the time because ever since I got pregnant with the twins I get so motion sick I can't handle being a passenger. Scotty would take over at night when it was dark so I could sleep. The kids were AMAZING, a 26 hour drive is a long time and they were such troopers. I really was amazed at how good they were!
Here is Lilly trying to fall asleep. On the way there and back Lilly only cried one time and it was because she had a stinky diaper on. I know amazing right??

Barrick being his cute little self. Good thing he is good at video games because I don't even want to think of how many hours he spent playing on Scottys i touch.

Here is Liam, he by far had the hardest time but even he was better then I anticipated any of them being.

Of course when we got there we were welcomed with a nummy dinner helping hands, and a big portion of there house just for us! It was so nice to have my sister in law Andrea there to talk to during the day; with 3 kids being so little I don't get out much by myself so to have some adult interaction was so good for me! I needed this month to gain some sanity back!
The take out runs, date nights, tv nights, late night snacks, talks until way too late, and most of all those 4 kids of yours made our stay absolutely perfect!! We love you guys so much!! Thank you for putting up with our crazy family and for being such great examples to us!! We miss and love you guys so much!

While we were there it was our 7 year anniversary and Austin and Andrea watched the kids so we could go out. Scotty planned the date and we went to the Tower of the Americas which you can see in the 2nd picture and went to dinner at the Chart House. It was so good and the restaurant was amazing. The restaurant is at the top of the tower and the outside wall is a huge window and the restaurant rotates completely around in 1 hour. It was beautiful to eat looking out over the city and to have a changing view!

Another big event that happened while we were there was my nephew Hyrums baptism. He was sweet enough to wait 2 months so we could be at his baptism, so of course my parents came out and we had such a great weekend just spending time together.
Here is a picture of Lulu and Barrick with Gpa.
Hyrum got to pick a restraunt for his celebration so we went ot Red Robin. Here is some of the crew.
Hyrum and little Lilly, isn't this the most precious picture!
Hyrum on his big day! Don't they have the cutest family?
Hyrum we are so proud of you for the decision you made to be baptized we love you and thank you for sharing such a special day with us!

Of course between all of these big events we had a lot of fun outings, and just a lot of fun goofing around.
Here is Scotty being the horse for all of the kids. If you can't tell these kids loved him, and sadly more then me. Of course he did some bribing for there love with candy, games and gifts, but oh well at least Scotty and I are a package deal and when they get him they have to get me.
Here are some pictures at Hyrums baseball game! Barrick LOVED it, and kept telling me all night he wanted to play like Hyrum.

We also went down to the river walk and ate a this fun Mexican restaurant right on the river. Lilly was at the end of the table and got about every person who walked by to stop and talk to her. She is such a social, loud happy little thing!

Here is the whole group at the restaurant.

While there we also went to the Alamo, which was cool to see, but I think the snow cones were a bigger hit for the kids.

Last, we had a fun day at the park. Here is Lulu and Barrick; these two little ones were quit the pair, they loved each other but also loved to bug each other. It was pretty funny to see.

And of course we couldn't go to the park without a picture of these little ones. Lilly LOVED the swing and laughed the whole time she was on there. Liam on the other hand tolerated it.
Also while we were there Shauni and Colby came down from Temple to visit one weekend and it was so good see them! Unfortunately I was running a fever and sick the whole time to I had to spend most of my time in bed. All though I was out Scotty was able to go to a movie with them and go downtown to the River Walk and see the Alamo.
Here is a picture with all of the kids when they came back from the Alamo.

We had such an amazing month! Thank you so much again for everything we love you guys!!
