Fun times and update.

As hard as the last couple of months have been we have still managed to get out of the house and have a little fun!  This month Scottys is doing his clinical rotation so he is strictly working clinic and will have an occasional night shift, and it has been wonderful!!  This last month has been like a whole new life:)  Speaking of Scotty he is LOVING his work, he really couldn't be any happier!  When going through medical school and working as hard as you do you hope you made the right decision when you start your residency and Scotty has done exactly that.  He is great at his job!!  He will hate that I did this but I have to brag a little.  Since starting his residency he has earned himself a great reputation.  His panel of clinical patients was full within a couple of months, and people are being turned away and having a hard time getting into see him.  He was also voted as resident of the month after working his first inpatient rotation at the Children's hospital.  He is amazing and it is so nice to have an in house doctor for our kids, all though everytime I need some advice he usually isn't here:)  We are so proud of him!

A couple of weeks ago we went and visited Santa, ate some dinner, played in the kid area and rode a couple of fun rides and the kids LOVED it!!  Barrick actually wasn't afraid of Santa this year and very proudly told him he wanted a "Clov-er succor" and a "Jack in the box".  Crazy kid he is pretty easy to please.  Lilly and Liam on the other hand wanted nothing to do with Santa.  Liam at least waved, Lilly wouldn't even look at him.

When the weather was still a little bit warmer we would go and visit Scotty at work and eat dinner with him.  The nice thing about Scotty working in a Children's hospital is everything in it is for kids.  Right next to the cafeteria they have a big playground in the middle of the hospital and around every corner is video games, wagons, and coloring areas and my kids LOVE it!!
Lilly has also been having a hard time with the boys sharing a room and would get jealous of Liam sleeping in a big bed.  So we did what she thought she wanted and put a toddler bed in her room with her crib and tried letting her sleep in it and man oh man she was NOT ready!!!  This picture was right before we put all the kids down and the bed has been empty ever since.

We also met up with some family at Young's Dairy Farm for some lunch and play time and the kids LOVED it!!  The boys had a blast feeding the goats but Lilly on the other hand would not got near them and screamed bloody murder.  (Probably has something to do with the fact that last time we came Scotty had her try and feed one and I think she has been scarred for life.  She wont go near any animals now.)

We also went to Trent and Valene's and made some sugar cookies.  The kids had so much fun they came home with full belly's and flour covering them from head to toe.

Here are the kids watching a "Muppets Christmas Carol"  for Family Home Evening and it was a hit.

Just some updates on these little kiddos.  Barrick our little man is doing good he is amazing at home with the babies and is really starting to step into his role as the older brother.  Now that the babies are getting older they LOVE playing together and Liam and Barrick LOVE wrestling.  When the babies are sleeping Barrick is constantly asking when they can get up.  He is my little buddy who wears his heart on his sleeve and man he loves bigger and better then any kid I know.
He has also become my laundry helper.  He loves folding the hand towels!  Here he is with his finished product I would have to say he is better then Scotty at folding these.  A little bit of a perfectionist and a boy after my own heart.

Of course our little Lilly.  She is as I would say our easy child.  She has a bit of an attitude but what girl doesn't?   She is our little mommy in the house.  If one of her brothers is upset she is the first one there with a blankie or stuffed animal.  She has a little Lamb and Kitty that she treats like babies and she even calls them babies.  She wraps them in blankets feeds them and rocks them all day long.  (yes I know she needs a doll and I think Santa is bringing her one)  She has just started talking up a storm the last couple of weeks.  She was a little behind in her speech but now every word anyone says she copies.  She loves wearing dresses and pajamas and HATES tights!!  She is also a pretty amazing at electronics like her brother.  From my phone she can get on netflix and pick her favorite show Dragon Tails.  She also loves taking pictures and if you get a random call from me it is probably this little Lilly girl.
Here she is of course with lamb and Kitty she loves giving them piggie backs so we found a easier way for her and she LOVES it!!
Both Lilly and Liam LOVE shoes it is a constant all day long of putting on and off shoes.  I LOVED this picture Liam in my boots and Lilly in daddys church shoes.  Funny thing is this is how it is more times then not.  Silly kids.

Last but not least our sweet Liam boy.  Man on man where to start on this little guy.  Well to start off he is way too smart!!  He is very independent and thinks he can do anything and everything.  This last week he has decided that he doesn't want to go potty in his diaper anymore.  I love the fact that he is potty training himself.  He just takes off his clothes goes in the bathroom and goes potty.  He has now pooped in the potty the last three days in the toilet and only had a couple of wet diapers.  Barrick did the same thing pooped in the potty for months then finally got the peeing down after a while.
The negative is he is constantly taking his clothes off and doesn't want a wet diaper on so he is naked ALL the time.  With not being completely potty trained I am having to clean up more pee accidents then I would like.  One night after putting on his diaper 20 times in a 30 minute period Scotty told him if he took it off again he would tape his clothes on.  Sure enough he didn't listen so Scotty got out the tape and taped his clothes on.  To say he wasn't happy would be and understatement.  But ever since he only takes his clothes off when he is actually going potty.

He is behind on his speech so we are looking forward to his 2 year appt. to get his hearing re-checked and possibly get him in speech therapy.  This little one is such a joy he is our lovable huggable little buddy who gives you the best greetings when you walk in the room.  We love this little Liam boy!

I can't get over how different your kids look. I mean the twins look similar but still they each have their own look. And little Barrick and all that blond hair. So dang cute.

I bet he is an awesome dr. Compassion is a huge factor! My brother is doing his residency in Indiana right now. Kudos to you for being such a good mom to three beautys!
