Great Wolf Lodge!

A couple of weeks ago Scotty had a medical conference and decided to bring us along.  Lucky for us it was at Great Wolf Lodge!! 

 It was a little crazy we left Friday afternoon on his post call day and he was off Saturday (the day of the conference) then he had to be back to work Sunday.  Super CRAZY in the middle of an NICU month but completely worth it!!

If you read my previous post our kids and water is a new thing, but it turned out perfect!   

Lilly loved the hot tub.  I think with 0 fat on her little body the cold water added to her fear.  Once she warmed up though she had a blast and even went down a couple of slides.

 

 Here is Barrick teaching Liam how to go down for the first time.   Barrick was so patient and such a good brother!

 Barrick went down first then waited at the bottom for Liam.  He kept yelling "Its okay Liam, I am right here I wont let you fall!"

 The first day Lilly kept using Briony as an excuse to stay out of the water but she was in for a rude awakening when she realized Briony was going in the water too. Silly girl!

 Liam LOVED the wave pool!  He is one brave little boy!  Once he went down the first slide he was ready to do everything!

 Briony was amazing as always!  Loved being in the water and loved watching all the people around us.

 Barrick was in heaven!  He still has that purple bracelet on and insists he is going to wear it till we can go there again.

 The thing I love about our kids is they can have just as much fun jumping on the beds!

After four hours of swimming, they were so exhausted they all crashed and didn't move all night!

The next day was the medical conference, so I had to keep the kids busy until about 1.  So we got up got ready, saw the character show in the morning, and headed down to the cub house.  (Play room for toddlers)  We ended up staying there until Scotty was done.  We colored, made Halloween masks, played toys.

 And played all morning!

Their favorite part was painting pumpkins.  Then before we knew it Scotty was already done and we were off to more swimming!

 The second day we spent hours on the two big orange slides.  They are in the far right corner, Lilly wasn't brave enough for these but the boys LOVED them!  Parents are not allowed to go down the slides with the kids, so I was very proud of all 3 kids for doing it all by themselves. 

One of our favorites was the family raft ride!  Kind of scary but super fun!

 The boys each wanted a picture with the "candy bear" as they called it.

 Lilly on the other hand was a little afraid of the bear!  Silly Lilly!

And Briony was just happy as can be!  We had such an amazing weekend!  The kids had so much fun and we are already looking forward to going again!
